Major League Baseball insider Jeff Passan tweeted out on Monday (May 10) that Seattle Mariners coveted top prospect Jarred Kelenic is expected to be called-up from AAA Tacoma to join the big league club when they return to Seattle on Thursday to open a series against the Cleveland Indians.

Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger cranked both his 9th and 10th home runs of the 2021 season to pull into a tie for the American League lead in round-trippers but it wasn't enough as the M's bullpen couldn't hold on to a 4-1 lead late in the game at Chavez Ravine against the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Seattle Mariners anemic offense still managed to take a lead late into their series opening game against the Baltimore Orioles tonight (May 3) before surrendering 5 runs in the 8th inning before succumbing to the O's by a final tally of 5-3 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

The Seattle Mariners finally got some offense out of their much-maligned 5-9 batters and got another sterling performance from the arms in the bullpen en route to a 7-4 series-opening victory over the Los Angeles Angels at T-Mobile Park tonight (April 30).

The Seattle Mariners had a couple of rarities today. First, they were able to rough up Zack Greinke. Second, their thus-reliable bullpen imploded in the 8th inning giving up 5 runs en route to 7-5 loss to the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.

Last night, the Mariners simply didn't have enough Kyles to keep up with the Houston Astros in a 5-2 loss as both namesakes Seager and Lewis both hit home runs. Tonight (April 27) only one Kyle collected the measly two hits.
