While not even 20 games into the 2021 season, this year's Seattle Mariners squad is already making their case to be dubbed the "Cardiac Kids".

After being no-hit through five innings and trailing 2-0 in the sixth inning, Seattle's bats heated up in the latter innings to rally for a 7-3 victory in 10 innings at Fenway Park in the first of a four-game series against the Boston Red Sox. The win put the M's mark this year at 12-7 -- good enough for a tie for first place in the American League's West Division along with the Oakland Athletics. Both teams have the top record in the AL and second-best overall ledger in Major League Baseball behind the Los Angeles Dodgers (14-5).

After tying the game at 2-2 the Mariners fell behind 3-2 before having to come from behind again in the 8th on a clutch run-scoring double by Sam Haggerty.
