1460 ESPN Yakima’s Week #1 High School Football “Player Of the Game”

Eisenhower High School sophomore quarterback Drew Kornegay has been named our Yakima Federal Savings and Loan "Player of the Game" for his performance in last Friday's season-opening victory in the Tri-Cities against the Pasco Bulldogs.

Kornegay torched the Pasco defense for 224 yards passing, completing 13 out of 25 attempts, including four throws for touchdowns.

For his exploits, 1460 ESPN Yakima play-by-play announcer Mike Bastinelli tabbed him as the most outstanding participant. Drew, who also received a "game ball" from the Yakima Herald-Republic, was awarded a handsome trophy from Engravings Unlimited and Bi-Mart Membership Discount Stores.

This Friday we head to West Valley to call the Rams game against Chiawana.
