Seahawks Sputter Then Speed Past Colts on Sunday Night
It was another dreadful performance on offense in the first half for the Seattle Seahawks but a gritty touchdown run by quarterback Russell Wilson and two defensive touchdowns eventually gave Seattle at 46-18 victory on NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast.
Seattle actually trailed at halftime 15-10. During a ceremony during the intermission, the club retired its most recent Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Kenny Easley's jersey #45.
The Hawks did not win the game unscathed, however. Rookie starting running back Chris Carson was carted off of the field late in the fourth quarter after having an air cast placed on his left leg.
The Seahawks will face the surprising division leaders - the Los Angeles Rams - on the road next Sunday.
