I, for one, had no clue until I saw something about it on OnlyInYourState.com. The official Washington state song is called, "Washington, My Home".

The song contains elements of religious fervor mixed with a reverence for the beauty found within the Evergreen State. "Washington, My Home" was written by a lady named Helen Davis. It was adopted as the official state song in 1959. A composer named Stuart Churchill designed the musical accompaniment.

Okay, so one is a nursery rhyme and the other one is a song only about one city, not the entire state.
