**The House Farm Bill has drawn Democratic anger over food stamp reforms, but also makes significant changes in policy and funding across many other sections.

According to Agri-Pulse, the bill includes relatively noncontroversial provisions like enhancements to the Price Loss Coverage program, the first updates to USDA farm lending limits in 16 years, and full funding for trade promotion programs and specialty crop assistance.

Tougher negotiations include elimination of the Conservation Stewardship Program, expanding the Conservation Reserve Program; and defunding energy programs and other programs that benefit small-scale or organic agriculture.

**Due to a surge in sales last year, the U.S. is the No. 1 beef supplier to South Korea for the first time since mad cow disease was discovered here in Washington state in 2003.

Agriculture.com reports that Seoul imported over 184-thousand tons of U.S. beef worth $1.22 billion in 2017.

Australia was the dominant supplier for 14 years during the ban South Korean ban on U.S. beef after 2003.

**Monsanto is collaborating with Adjuvants Unlimited to develop what it describes as the first-ever agricultural sprayer system cleaner designed to deactivate dicamba.

According to agriculture.com, Adjuvants, a developer and manufacturer of technologies for the crop protection industry, will bring this technology to market this year.

The new sprayer cleaner technology is unique from other currently available sprayer equipment cleaners as it’s based on a chemical process that deactivates certain pesticide active ingredients, including dicamba.
