Yakama Nation Legends Casino To Expand, Hire 100 New Employees

Mai Hoang of the Yakima Herald-Rupublic has reported that Yakama Nation Legends Casino, as part of a $90 million expansion, is planning to add approximately 100 new jobs to their staff.

A new hotel adjacent to the casino as well as an expanded buffet necessitate the need for more hired help. Legends will hold a job fair on Wednesday, October 12th from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at WorkSource inside the Ahtanum Ridge Business Park (1205 Ahtanum Ridge Dr.) in Union Gap.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, speak English and have customer service skills. Applicants will have to pass a background check and drug screening as well as have their resume` in hand and be prepared for an interview on-site.

The casino, which opened in 1998, currently employs 600+ persons.
