But how would fans feel? Would they regard the World Series champion as legit? And suppose a player hit .400 — would that mark go into the record book alongside the likes of Ted Williams? Many fans say they want to see Major League Baseball this year. If they do get a shortened season, then they'll have to decide how to view the stats, awards and champion.
