(AP) — The top-ranked Villanova Wildcats needed a late rally to avoid their second consecutive loss and third of the season.

Donte DiVicenzo scored on a tip-in at the buzzer to give the Wildcats a 61-59 win over 12th-ranked Virginia. DiVicenzo's bucket survived video review and capped Villanova's comeback from a 10-point, second-half deficit.

Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges each scored 15 points as the Wildcats bounced back from last week's loss to Marquette. Villanova hasn't dropped two in a row since 2013.

The outcome leaves Villanova 20-2 and drops the Cavaliers to 16-4. However, the Wildcats likely will fall from the top of the poll on Monday following their setback against the Golden Eagles.
