After paying homage to their iconic motif check board print and celebrating their 50th anniversary, Vans is back to present their latest collaboration with Japanese electronic and software company, Nintendo. Taking it back to the late '80s and early '90s, when the first Nintendo system was released, Vans themes their forthcoming collection after some of the most popular video games in the early history of Nintendo.

Compromised of some of Vans' most well-known silhouettes, this collection includes the Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Sk8-Low and the slip-on. Featuring graphics from classic Nintendo video games such as Donkey Kong, Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt and more, the silhouettes are dressed in all around Nintendo prints. This sneaker collection marks the first for the Vans and Nintendo collab.

As of now it remains unknown if the shoes will be accompanied by matching apparel, but stay tuned with XXL for more information on the release of this Vans x Nintendo collection and more. For now check out detailed images from the collection below.
