OREM, Utah (AP) — Caleb Stone-Carrawell scored 20 points as Utah Valley beat Seattle 78-72 on Wednesday night in a Western Athletic Conference opener.

Stone-Carrawell was 5 of 12 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 9 for 10 from the line for the Wolverines (5-2). Jaden McClanahan scored 19 points, going 5 of 9 from the floor, including 3 for 4 from 3-point range, and 6 for 7 from the line. Trevin Dorius had 16 points and was 5 of 7 shooting and 6 of 6 from the free throw line.

Cameron Tyson led the Redhawks (4-3) in scoring, finishing with 23 points. Seattle also got 21 points and seven assists from Alex Schumacher. Brandton Chatfield also had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
