WHAT IS THE TRAILING OF THE SHEEP FESTIVAL IN IDAHO?

The Trailing of the Sheep is a five-day celebration that recognizes the important agricultural connection of sheepherding to Idaho's livestock industry. Sheep are herded throughout the state of Idaho and into Western parts of the United States. Ranchers from all over Idaho join to participate in this event and spectators from around the country love to come and watch. There is also a celebration of lamb cuisine and interactive experiences highlighting Idaho's contribution to American history as well.

WHEN IS THE TRAILING OF THE SHEEP FESTIVAL IN IDAHO?

The Trailing of the Sheep Festival 2022 begins on October 5th and ends on October 9th.
