Third Round of the US Open

NEW YORK (AP) — Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have third-round matches today at the U.S. Open. Third-seeded Federer plays Daniel Evans in the opening match at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Djokovic, the No. 1 seed and defending champion, faces Denis Kudla at night. Serena Williams is also in action today, facing Karolina Muchova of the Czech Republic.
