West Valley QB Brandon Battle wins 'Athlete of the Week' award from WIAA

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Executive Board on Wednesday voted in favor to make accommodations to the 1B and 2B Sate Volleyball Tournament for member schools that recognize the Saturday Sabbath.

The WIAA announced Riley Quincy of Selah High School as the recipient of the fifth annual Smart Choices Scholarship on Monday. He will receive a $5,000 scholarship to the school of his choice.
