Seattle’s soccer stars shone bright last night, but Minnesota wasn’t going down without a fight. What a playoff showdown!

In their first match defending their 2019 MLS Cup victory, Seattle Sounders FC unfurled their second championship banner preceding their 2020 season opener vs. the Chicago Fire before an estimated 50,000 supporters at CenturyLink Field today.

For the first time since 2008, Major League Soccer's championship game will air on ABC. This year's MLS Cup will be shown on the network for the 14th time in 24 seasons.

The defending champions Seattle Sounders have advanced to the MLS Cup finals again with a 3-0 win over the Houston Dynamo.
