Franck Kepnang

Franck Kepnang finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead Washington to an 85-61 victory over Montana State. Kepnang made 7 of 11 shots and blocked three at the other end for the Huskies.

Taran Armstrong scored 18 points with six assists, Joe Quintana added 17 points and California Baptist defeated Washington 73-64.

Washington coach Mike Hopkins believes the Huskies were on an upward trajectory by the end of last season. Huskies are to inch their way closer to the top of the conference.

De’Vion Harmon scored 17 points and Oregon beat No. 12 UCLA 68-63. Jacob Young scored 14 points and Will Richardson and Eric Williams Jr. each had 11 for the Ducks.
