The Seattle Seahawks say tests on linebacker Darrell Taylor’s neck have come back clear and are not ruling him out of playing next Monday against the New Orleans Saints.
The Seahawks have added four edge rushers this offseason to try to bolster the pass rush. Seattle signed veterans Bruce Irvin and Benson Mayowa in free agency.
The Seattle Seahawks General Manager John Schneider has notably traded draft picks down to acquire more of them. Yesterday, Seattle stayed put in holdinng on to their #27 slot to select LB Jordyn Brooks and today he, uncharacteristically, traded up from choice #59 to get to #48 in the 2nd round of the 202 NFL Draft.
With the choice, Seattle drafted University of Tennessee Defensive End Darrell Taylor.
