Georgia will begin its drive for an unprecedented college football championship three-peat as the No. 1 team in The Associated Press preseason Top 25.

There is a very real possibility that when the new preseason AP Top 25 is unveiled on Aug. 14, ’Bama could be squeezed out of the top-three for the first time since 2009.

Alabama is the new No. 1, in The AP men’s college basketball poll for the first time in 20 years. Purdue’s loss to Northwestern last week caused a jumble at the top of the AP Top 25 .

Michigan moved up to No. 2 in The AP college football poll Sunday, with TCU at No. 3 and USC at No. 4 behind top-ranked Georgia after four top-10 teams lost on the final day of regular-season games.

Tennessee has moved to No. 3 in The Associated Press college football poll behind No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Ohio State. It comes after the Volunteers knocked off Alabama.

Alabama reclaimed No. 1 from Georgia in The AP college football poll in one of the closest votes in the recent years. Two points separate the Crimson Tide from the Bulldogs.
