What are the rules around bringing guns in your carry-on luggage at the Sea-Tac airport in Seattle?

Yakima's airport seems to be the talk of the town for the last couple of months. Everything from getting our second flight back that allows us to leave early and arrive late to them upgrading their parking lot technology for parking, there's always something going on at YKM...

In an effort by the Yakima Airport, we finally have the option of booking an early morning flight out as well as the returning late at night flight back into Yakima as of right now. These flights don't take into effect until November 17th, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday seasons, but you're able to book them now as when you type in dates for later in the year they'll give you the option

Airport Director Rob Hodgman says after months of talks the airport has signed a contract with Alaska Airlines for the return of an early morning flight to Yakima starting on November 17

Flying out of Yakima's airport is something I do a few times a year as I love to travel. Sometimes I get dropped off and sometimes, out of convenience, I just park at the airport and pay the 10 a day parking. It's not too bad and worth it for me to have my own ride right when I get off the plane...

Over the next year Hodgman says they're planning an air fair at the airport. But it's different than the air fairs that were popular in the 1990's at the airport.

The goal is to restore an early morning flight to Seattle by November 17.

City officials say the poll also asked an open-ended, follow-up question: Are there any other new destinations that you would like to be able to fly to from the Yakima Airport

"The bill "directs the work group to consider only existing airports for potential expansion to meet state and Puget Sound commercial air transportation needs."

Airport officials say the poll also offers an option for respondents to write in other destinations not on the list.
