Sports Camps for Kids Available At Yakima Parks

City of Yakima parks will host a couple of sports camps and clinics this spring and summer that will offer kids the chance to play and learn.
The camps will be conducted by Skyhawks Sports and geared for children of all ages and ability levels.

What: Itty Bitty Intro To Soccer for 4-year-old kids
When: Every Tuesday from 6:00-6:45 p.m. beginning May 24th through June 14th
Where: Chesterly Park (40th Ave. and River Road)
Cost: $48 (non-city residents)/$40 (city residents) - Includes free t-shirt and ball.

What: Youth Soccer Clinic for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 12 years old
When: June 11th and 12th. This weekend clinic will be from 9:00 a.m. - noon each day
Where: Chesterly Park (40th Ave. and River Road)
Cost: $45 (non-city residents)/$40 (city residents) - Instruction will be provided by professional, licensed coaches.

What: Mini-Hawk Sports Camp, designed for 4 to 7 year olds, focusing on the essentials of baseball, basketball, and soccer.
When: July 11th through July 15th. 9:00 am to noon each day
Where: Franklin Park, located north of Tieton Drive between 19th Ave. and 23rd Ave.
Cost: $119

What: Multi-Sport Camp, aimed at 6-12 year olds, campers will learn the rules and essentials of two to three sports through skill-based games and scrimmages.
When: July 18th through July 22nd, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily

What: Skyhawks Sports Volleyball Camp for kids aged 6 to 12.
They'll learn all aspects of the game through drills and exercises that focus on serving, setting, and hitting.
When: July 25th through July 29th, 9:00 am to noon daily
