After what appeared to be a somewhat serious shoulder injury in last Sunday's (January 3) regular season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks star Pro Bowl Safety Jamal Adams now says -- EMPHATICALLY -- that he will be ready to play when the Hawks take on NFC West rivals the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the NFC playoffs this Saturday (January 9).

In a video posted on Twitter, the always animated Adams said "HELL YEAH!" when asked if he was going to try to play despite being a bit dinged up. Well, sort of...

It wasn't as an emotional response as this:

*UPDATE* January 7th
In a lighter moment during his press conference, he gave some love to Seahawks Punter Michael Dickson when the Aussie's kick almost took Adams out mid-sentence. He exclaimed, "DAMN! That's the best damn punter in the world, right there! Keep kickin' bro! I see you!"
