Richard Sherman’s Mom Pens Pre-Monday Night Football Poem

While Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman can certainly alienate some with his brash style of talk and play, his mother, Beverly, has ingratiated herself to legions of fans by taking time to engage with them on social media.

Beverly Sherman, a.k.a. "Mama Sherman", would accept any fans request to friend her until she reached the maximum of 5,000.  After that, she started a fan page called "The Place Where Only 12's Hang With Mama Sherman."

Today, she posted a poem heading into the Monday Night match-up against the Washington Redskins:

"It's Monday Night Football y'all & the SEAHAWKS in DC ready to ball!! We've had some rest, now it's time to put in work & handle our business! We gotta start off right & keep our game tight, so we can end with another WIN tonight!! It's SEAHAWKS TIME, let's continue to shine adding W's to the book ONE GAME AT A TIME!!
