In one of the most bizarre games in the NFL in a long time, and the only game to end in a tie in the 41-year history of the franchise, the Seattle Seahawks stellar defensive back Richard Sherman showed the country why he is still one of the best players in the league.

ESPN Senior Writer Ian O'Connor  used his space at ESPN.com to praise the inhuman effort by Sherman in last night's nationally-televised game that ended 6-6 and left the Seahawks still holding a 1.5 game lead over their opponent, the Arizona Cardinals.

Following the game, in which the Seattle defense was on the field for 90 plays and 48 minutes of game action, the normally loquacious Sherman did not talk with reporters as he could barely move. After all, he had spent over three quarters covering legendary wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and holding him to a scant 70 yards on nine receptions.
