Have You Seen These Pretty Angel Wings at the Fair?

When you are out and about walking around the grounds at the Central Washington State Fair this week, if you keep your eyes peeled you can see many sets of pretty wings! They offer photo ops for you to take pics of your kids (or yourself). These pretty wings are part of a new visual art exhibit at the fair this year.

The Central Washington State Fair’s 2022 theme is “Growing Together” and the Angel Wings are new selfie stations that have been installed just for the fair!

WHAT ARE THE ANGEL WINGS ALL ABOUT ANYWAY?

Each pair of these pretty angel wings feature a different theme about the Fair. The angel wings themes include:

Reflective Tiles that are reminiscent of the ones decorating the top of the Yakima Sundome building
Livestock (horses, rabbits, pigs, cows, goats, and hens)
Chicken Feathers
Fair Food (burgers, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels, ice cream cones, candy apples, corndogs, donuts, and caramel apples)
Butterflies
Quilts, silverware, apples, sunflowers, and other farming tools
Scenes from farm crops in the Yakima Valley
Sunflowers

WHERE ARE THE ANGEL WING SELFIE STATIONS?

The pretty angel wings are scattered all over the Central Washington State Fair. We were able to find 8 of them; have you seen more?
