New 3-point Line Leading to Lower Shooting Percentages

New 3-point line leads to historic low percentages in college basketball. Teams are shooting 33.3% from the arc this year, lowest since the 3-point line was added in 1986. But the new line has done little to slow the barrage of 3-pointers being attempted. Dependency on 3-pointers is only slightly down from last season with coaches unsure of what to expect with the new line.
