The Seattle Mariners scored nine runs in the final three innings - including three in the bottom of the ninth, to top the defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs 11-10 in Cactus League play today.

The M's topped the Cubbies 8-6 yesterday behind Mike Zunino's third dinger of the spring. Homers in the 7th and 8th today helped Seattle overcome a 10-2 deficit to improve their exhibition record to 9-5.

Dan Altavilla pitched one scoreless inning to earn the win which was followed by a three-run outburst in the final frame.
