SEATTLE (AP) — Major League Soccer may be the most diverse soccer league in the world with more than 70 nationalities represented on its rosters at the start of the 2020 season. The presence of players from so many different countries has been good for MLS. But there's also been a downside for some players during the coronavirus pandemic. Foreign players and coaches have been stuck for weeks in North America and separated from family and loved ones spread around the world. The league has asked players to remain in their local markets while it waits for a chance to restart the season.
