Might Djokovic vs. Nadal, Part 59, be Their Last?

PARIS (AP) — This French Open is the first Grand Slam tournament in a year with both Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in the field. AP Tennis Writer Howard Fendrich says anyone who enjoys men’s tennis — or, indeed, sports — should be thrilled that those two titans of the game will face each other for a record 59th time. This meeting is a quarterfinal. Djokovic beat Nadal in the semifinals in Paris last year en route to the title. Nadal beat Djokovic in the 2020 final for his 13th championship at Roland Garros. Now the question is: How many more times will these two greats face off?
