Mariners Mash Sox Split-squad Behind Haniger, Hernandez

The Seattle Mariners improved their Cactus League record to 3-1 with an 8-1 drubbing of a split-squad of Chicago White Sox.

Newly acquired outfielder Mitch Haniger hit a three-run bomb in the first inning to give Felix Hernandez his first victory during Spring Training play.

Hernandez went two innings for the 'W', walking one whilst allowing one earned run.
