Ryan Divish, the Seattle Mariners beat writer for the Seattle Times newspaper, reporting that the club's GM Jerry Dipoto - while addressing the media on Tuesday - doesn't necessarily feel that the M's need to do much of anything terribly drastic this offseason.

Hard to believe? Divish probably said it best in wrapping up his article: "Going into this third season as general manager, Dipoto believes the organization is better than when he took over, which is a fair assessment. But in the results-based business of baseball, it’s still another season without the playoffs, just like the previous 15."
