Local teams made the rest of the state take notice of the Yakima Valley during the three-day 2015 WIAA Hardwood Classic, which wrapped up Saturday night with top-ranked Federal Way's 65-46 victory over A.C. Davis for the 4A championship.

Here's how Yakima Valley teams fared Saturday in the Tacoma Dome:

1B Girls -- Colton claimed the state championship, holding off Sunnyside Christian 89-70.

2B Girls -- White Swan finished third in the state after losing to La Conner, 61-55.

1A Boys -- Zillah's boys came in third after beating Vashon Island, 75-55.

1A Girls -- Zillah's girls finished fifth after losing 46-36 to Cashmere. Granger comes home with a sixth-place finish after falling short against Lynden Christian, 59-49.

2A Girls -- Ellensburg beat East Valley of Spokane, 48-45, to claim third place.

4A Boys -- Federal Way won the state championship after topping A.C. Davis, 65-46.
