COSTA MESA, Calif. (AP) — Justin Herbert would have already been walking onto a Los Angeles Chargers practice field had the coronavirus pandemic not shut down NFL facilities. Instead, he is using other ways to try to work with future teammates. Herbert is in Southern California as the Chargers conduct their virtual rookie minicamp. The former University of Oregon standout has resumed on-field workouts in Huntington Beach with John Beck, with whom he worked out before the draft. Herbert has also started lifting at a gym where some of the Chargers are doing offseason conditioning.
