The idea of someone taking time to draw something on money has always been a curiosity to me.

I always heard, growing up, that defacing money was actually against the law. Which it still is.

So I always felt a little special whenever I got a dollar bill with writing on it as I was too afraid to write on it, myself.

But when I received this dollar the other day, I was confused as it had a bunch of writing on it, but it was far more cryptic as I couldn't read much of it.

Here's the front of the dollar.

It's just chaotic.

I mean, sometimes you'll get someone who shades in George Washington so he looks like a different person, but this just has his mouth drawn over.

As for the writing, maybe you can decipher better than I can but I can read on the left of George it says "2023 TIME RE...(something). Recount, maybe?

The other side has a bunch of block text that also makes it hard to read. Something about "Vote Thath nativefro...
and random letters that don't really make out much of anything.

Here's the back, if you're curious.

I'm guessing it's the one who did this calling themselves out.

"from SoulLiveFr..." and letters I can't quite make out.

They had the chance to make a statement but instead it just looks like a random mess on a one-dollar bill that I'm probably just going to feed to some vending machine in the future. Oh well, a lost cause.
