I found the cutest charcuterie box in Yakima at the most unlikely of places.

It all started last night when my kid asked if I could take them to one of their favorite coffee stands the next morning before school. I agreed as I had plans early enough the next morning so needed to wake up earlier than usual as it was.

That place is Rush Coffee on 48th and Nob Hill.

They ordered their predictable order to get them through the high school day, a 32oz 'Surprise' Red Bull which is basically just to let them make whatever they want, so long as it has red bull in it. My body can't handle that much caffeine but, on occasion, I'll allow it for my kids as I definitely went through a Jolt Cola / Mountain Dew and 'turbo truffles (caffeinated chocolates) phase when I was in high school, myself.

As we were waiting for the drink I was looking at the other food options like stuffed bagels, donut holes and more. All of them looked pretty great. Then I saw this charcuterie box which what appeared to be a salami rose. Then I saw it was only $6. I need it! Fortunately, they had one left so I grabbed it and took it with me to work for my lunch.
It held up great and helped me get through my day as I'm sure that giant, bladder-busting Red Bull did for my kid.

I'm not sure if they're all different but this was 6 slices of salami, 3 giant crackers, some cubed cheeses, cashews, dried apricots (I think that's what they were) and those super-mini chocolate chips. And all for $6. It was a deal for me.

I rationed 2 slices of salami per cracker put some cheese on it and popped the entire thing in my mouth.
Just the one satisfied me and prevented me from making a bad 'fast food' decision which I usually regret later.

If you want to try one for yourself, you can grab them at Rush Coffee on 48th and Nob Hill.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
