Steve Hahn’s Toys for Tots was a Huge Success as Always
For over 30 years, Steve Hahn on the corner of 1st and Mead has been a Toys for Tots collection point for the Yakima Valley. With Toys for Tots, they ask you drop off a new, unwrapped toy so that every child will have a new toy to open for Christmas and make their season shine a whole lot brighter.
It's our pleasure to help spread the word about this as well.
We were out broadcasting live this morning but they'll accept your toys all the way upto Christmas.
They even said if you drop off toys after the cutoff time, those toys will be used for next year so there's never a bad time to donate.
One of the services of Steve Hahn is if you have toys you'd like to donate but can't make it, you can call the shop and someone will come and get the toys from you. Just call 509-248-4700 and let them know.
And it doesn't have to be toys, too. Your cash donations will go far as well. The US Marine Corps works with people and teams who know how to stretch a dollar so they can shop for more or use those funds to purchase toys for age groups that aren't as well represented.
Steve goes all out and gets Krispy Kremes, cookies, and coffee for those dropping off toys. It's always a nice spread to see.
