Most do a ‘French Dip’, but This Place in Ellensburg does a Prime Rib Dip

As close as Ellensburg is to Yakima and as much as our radio stations reach Ellensburg, we certainly don't give it as many props as it deserves. Ellensburg is a wonderful town, a wonderful community that's more than just a row of gas stations off the freeway.

I'm trying to make it a point to find new restaurants for myself every time I'm in the area and I stopped by one that had amazing food and drinks and already can't wait to go back.

If you find yourself in Ellensburg, just off the freeway exit, once you pass all the gas stations and fast food joints you'll find Roadhouse Grill. This is where we went the other day.

The dish I wanted to focus on was their Prime Rib Dip.

There are several places in the Yakima Valley that do a French dip sandwich. And what's to love about a French dip? Sliced meat, melty cheese, sometimes they have caramelized onions on a roll or bun and you get the au jus for dipping into it. It's amazing and interactive.

This Prime Rib Dip at The Roadhouse Grill in Ellensburg is just next-level with the quality of meat and the bun it's on. the skinny french fries were an amazing touch as well as my favorite part about fries at any quality restaurant is the crunch and with these fries it's mostly crunch. It's great.

If you find yourself in Ellensburg, or maybe you live in town, The Roadhouse Grill has a great Prime Rib Dip you should try. Paired great with an IPA of which they have several.
