Memphis Airport’s Bathrooms Might Just Change Your Travel Game
"Are you in Memphis? Because you're the only '10 I SEE."
Try that sometime and see if it works. Probably not, but maybe you'll at least get an eye roll.
I was recently in Memphis. Just a quick trip that has me flying out of their airport.
In lieu of using the bathroom on the airplane of which those tiny bathrooms I can barely fit, I went before I got on the flight.
I've gotta say, the bathrooms at the Memphis airport are the best bathrooms in an airport I've ever seen.
The light warns you
First of all, I've seen conference rooms that didn't look this pretty.
Frosted glass doors that are huge and cover just about the entire wall of the room you're in when you're doing your business.
Then there's a light above the door that shows which stalls have someone in them and which ones are available.
I only noticed the lights afterwards as the door, near the handle, when it's locked it goes from red to green mark on the door near the handle as well so if you're not waiting in line or something you can see which ones soon as you walk in.
I didn't take a photo of the stall, itself, but the stall I used also had it's own sink with hand dryer as well as paper towel so you don't need to wait at the sink as soon as you're done. I loved this.
Such luxury in Memphis.
