For many years, Godfather's Pizza in Yakima was a favorite by many. Known for piling toppings in a literal mound while drinking soda and playing video games or your favorite track on the jukebox, Godfather's Pizza was an experience that you just had to be there for.

We had a couple of locations in the area but I mostly remember visiting the location on 40th and Summitview. This was several years ago.

They also had some pretty iconic commercials including their 'godfather' who would end the commercials with "Do iiiiit!"

Though Godfather's has been gone from Yakima for several years now, they exist outside of town including a location in Wenatchee.

I found myself in a store I don't often visit. In fact, it was the first time I was ever in this specific location when I was looking for a quick snack and noticed these little pizzas in the warming plates. That's also when I noticed the familiar logo.

Where to find Godfather's Pizza in Yakima

This particular location, the one I grabbed the photo from, is from the new Circle K on 1st and Valley Mall Blvd.

I happen to be near there so figured I'd pop in for some quick road trip snacks for my appointment in Tri-Cities (all road trips require snacks).

Now, I know it's not exactly the same Godfather's Pizza experience so many of us remember fondly, but it's something.

Who knows, here's hoping we get another Godfather's back in Yakima. If Wendy's and Chipotle can return to Yakima, anything is possible.
