Coffee shops are one of our last bastions of cool places to hang out. Coffee doesn't cost a lot (depending on what you order), a great place to meet-up with friends or old acquaintances or, if you work from home, it's a great place to go and get some work done outside of the house just for a change of scenery.

The finance website, Market Beat, went out and found the best coffee shops for remote work.
Not just the top 10 or even top 20, but the top 145.

That's right, they found 145 coffee shops that would be a great place to get work done and get yourself out of the house.

Of these 145 coffee shops, two of them are in Washington State.

And, furthermore, these top 2 in Washington aren't even in Seattle.

In your face, Emerald City!

We can start with the two in Washington State since that's most important to us.

They have Lander Coffee from Tacoma as well as Arctos Coffee from Spokane.

One on the west side of the state, one on the east side of the state.

Neat to see the location Spokane, Arctos Coffee, used to be an automotive place and was also used for detailing cars so they turned the garage into more space with those giant garage doors. How fun.

Now, the facts.

Out of 145 places Market Beat selected, both of the Washington locations weren't too high on the list.

Spokane's Arctos Coffee came in 91st place

Tacoma's Lander Coffee came in 119th.

Still, better than not being listed at all, but was hoping for something higher on the list. Especially with how popular coffee is here in the Pacific Northwest.

The one in first place goes to a place called Bad Bunnies Coffee in Charleston, SC.

No place in Oregon even cracked the top 10.
