So there you are, at your local pot shop, planning for a relaxing weekend.

You make your selection, and the budtender rings you up.

You start thinking to yourself about how much this is going to cost you.

Please don’t let it be too high, please don’t let it be too high.

Then the budtender totals you out, and you see your bill, and it’s just a picture of Snoop Dogg.

Damn, that’s high!

But comparatively speaking, in Washington and Oregon, it’s not as bad as other states.

The Pacific Stone Editorial Team, a premium greenhouse cannabis retailer, scanned over 383 thousand prices of marijuana that users of PriceofWeed.com submitted along with Information from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Thanks to their efforts, we now know where which states might charge a quarter for a dime bag.

Comparing and ranking the receipts, we now know where (on average) the cheaper buds can be bought.

Oregon ranks #1 for the cheapest in the price of marijuana, with residents paying 45.86% less than the country average.

Washington comes in just behind that, with the cost being 34% cheaper than the average in America.

Even though we’re on the cheaper side of the country, it’ll still cost you.
