“All Aboard!” Final Weekend For The Toy Train Christmas in Toppenish, Washington
“Toy Train Christmas is intended to bring back the days of old when toy trains were common around the Christmas tree.”
- Northern Pacific Railway Museum
This is a feast for the eyes and great for all ages. This is an amazing event that will create memories in the young and rekindle nostalgia in the young at heart. This weekend (December 17th and 18th) is the final stop for the holidays.
It starts at 10am and runs until 4pm both Saturday and Sunday, with a walk through the museum, seeing all scales of model and toy trains complete with model towns and villages. Of course, your experience through history wouldn’t be complete without hot chocolate and cookies plus a train ride to visit Santa!
The Toy Train Christmas at the museum is located at 10 Asotin Ave, in Toppenish. It costs $10 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under and all proceeds go to the restoration and maintenance of the museum. A small price for an amazing experience and spectacular cause. For more information on the Toy Train Christmas, check out the Northern Pacific Railway Museum’s website at NPRYMuseum.org or like their Facebook Page.
