Have you ever been to The 5 Point Cafe in the heart of downtown Seattle? This Seattle restaurant has been in business since 1929 and is one of the oldest restaurants in Seattle. It has survived Post-Prohibition, the Great Depression, and now, the COVID pandemic. Most would describe it as an awesome dive bar and diner.
What’s not to love about The 5 Point Cafe? Open 24 hours! Free wifi! They even have merch! You can buy it on site at the bar or order it to be shipped to you anywhere in the U.S. (Their merch includes: Tank t-shirts, caps, hoodies, Koozies, baby onesies that say, “I Learned the F Word at the 5 Point Cafe”, t-shirts, and enamel pins.) They are known for their love of deep frying everything (deep-fried oatmeal cream pies, anyone, or how about deep-fried Snickers bars), and their steak dinner has been raved about, too.
The 5 Point Cafe is located near 4th Ave in downtown Seattle, at 415 Cedar St. It is within walking distance of Tilikum Place Park, a plaza that has a life-sized statue of Chief Seattle.
