Things to Do in Yakima Valley: Thursday, December 12th
The week seems to be flying by!
We have a bunch of fun activities planned for the day before all the weekend activities and partying starts, with Thursday looking to be packed with things to do around the Yakima Valley!
1.
Yakima Maker Space is hosting a ceramic ornament glazing fundraiser at Single Hill Brewing.
The event begins at 5pm and ends around 7pm. (See ticket pricing info) That Guy That Cooks food truck will be on site serving birria egg rolls, burgers, and tacos from 3pm - 9pm.

State Fair Park is getting into the Christmas spirit with the kickoff of their annual Holiday Drive-Thru Light Fest.
The event runs from December 12th thru December 22nd. Each night, the drive-thru starts at 5pm and ends at 10pm. (See pricing and admission fees)
State Fair Park is located at 1301 S Fair Ave in Yakima.
Holiday music that you can listen to in your car as you drive thru the event will be provided on your radio dial via Townsquare Media Yakima station Mega 99.3 FM!

The Yakima Valley Museum also has a holiday event that you can view on Thursday, namely their Holiday Lights Extravaganza. This is a collection of Christmas decoration displays created by over 30 local nonprofits.
The museum is located at 2105 Tieton Dr in Yakima. (See admission pricing and info)
If you get hungry while there, stop by the Soda Fountain for some eats (open 10am-2pm).

Would you love to do some outdoor ice skating? Winter Wonderland GLICE Rink has a set up for you at the Valley Mall, hosted by Bear Events from 4pm to 8pm.

Christmas in the Valley is a new event this year. Check out gorgeous holiday displays at participating wineries along the Zillah Lighted Wine Tour. On Thursday, December 12th, you can stop by Two Mountain Winery, Dineen Vineyards, VanArnam, Whitman Hill, and Hyatt wineries for a "holiday wine crawl."
