Next Friday the largest event in Central Washington kicks off. Next Friday is the opening day of the Central Washington State Fair at Yakima's State Fair Park. “Cowabunga - It’s Fair Time" that's the theme to this year's Central Washington State Fair set for September 19th - 28th.

CELEBRATING THE DAIRY INDUSTRY

The theme say fair officials celebrates and helps to educate everyone about the importance of the dairy industry in the valley and the state.
With dairy being in the spotlight if you attend the fair you'll be able to watch milking demonstrations daily at the newly renovated DAIRY MILKING PARLOR demonstration patio and walk-thru educational exhibits all about the dairy industry.

HOW ABOUT A LAMBURGER?

After you check out those exhibits grab a Lamburger. In fact the Lamburger booth celebrates 100 years at the fair this year. The Lamburger booth the longest running food vendor in fair history. Just in case you didn't know the Lamburger booth was started by the Washington State Wool Grower’s Auxiliary as a fundraiser to support the sheep industry and youth programs like FFA and 4-H. By the way the name Lamburger was patented by the auxiliary years ago.

LOTS OF SURPRISES FOR FOOD LOVERS
