Ichiromania is Back

TOKYO (AP) — Ichiro Suzuki has arrived in Tokyo. That's a sure sign the Major League Baseball season is only days away from starting. Ichiro wore a gray and black hat and slipped quickly through the arrival gate at Haneda Airport. Hundreds of reporters and fans got only a quick glimpse of the 45-year-old Japanese star. The Seattle Mariners and the Oakland Athletics arrived on separate charter flights. They play Wednesday and Thursday in the first two games of the 2019 season.
