Coming off of a truncated 2020 college football season due to the coronavirus where U-Dub only played 4 games, there were already a bunch of question marks regarding the Washington Huskies upcoming season. There are tons more head-scratchers following a dismal season-opening 13-7 loss at home to the Montana Grizzlies. They became just the 6th FCS team to beat a Division I NCAA football team.
Regardless, the Huskies "Dawgfather", former Defensive Coordinator Jimmy Lake, will have to face the music and try to analyze just what went wrong and what needs to be done to correct it -- in very short order -- before Washington travels to "The Big House" in Ann Arbor to take on the Michigan Wolverines.

Lake is in just his second year as the head coach after taking over for his predecessor Chris Petersen who abruptly stepped down following the 2019 campaign.
