Homer’s Odyssey Leads Him to Starting Role for Seahawks
Travis Homer made a strong impression in the first start of his career. The rookie running back had 62 yards rushing and another 30 yards receiving for the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 17 loss to San Francisco. Most of the attention was on Marshawn Lynch's return after 14 months away from football. Lynch had his moments. So did Homer. The sixth-round pick out of Miami is likely to have another big role this Sunday when Seattle faces Philadelphia in the opening round of the playoffs.
