Hawks D.K. Metcalf Nearly Qualifies for Olympic 100 Meter Dash [VIDEO]
Seattle Seahawks Wide Receiver D.K. Metcalf missed qualifying for the United States Olympic team in the 100 Meter Dash by .16 seconds in qualifying at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California on Sunday (May 9).
Metcalf, who had only trained for about a month before attempting to make the squad, clocked an impressive 10.36 time while finishing 9th place. a 10.2 or less was needed to qualify.
The feat didn't fall lightly on Metcalf's fellow NFL brethren including Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes who took to his Twitter page to give Metcalf a shout-out.

At 6'4" and 235 pounds, Metcalf towered over the much smaller field.
