TOKYO (AP) — Amanda Longan made her Olympic debut as the U.S. rolled to a 16-5 victory over Canada in the women's water polo quarterfinals at the Tokyo Games. Longan relieved Ashleigh Johnson and played the fourth quarter, finishing with three saves on five shots. Maggie Steffens, Makenzie Fischer and Alys Williams each had three goals as the U.S. stayed in the hunt for its third consecutive gold medal. Spain beat China 11-7 and Hungary topped the Netherlands 14-11 in a dramatic finish. Hungary will meet Spain in the semifinals Thursday and the U.S. will face the Russian team.
