The only thing more gratifying than getting in shape is getting in shape for a good cause. And it's even more fun if you can take your dog along. That's what the upcoming Yakima Strong 9K4K9 Fun Run/Walk for the Yakima K-9 Unit is all about -- the dogs!

You can also donate online if you cannot make the fun run. The event will start at 10 a.m. and the official start will be at 11am. Saturday, May 20 at Franklin Park, 2101 Tieton Drive.

There will be music, ice cream, lunch boxes from the Yakima Valley Museum Soda Fountain, bouncy houses, and random food trucks with coffee and more.

Registration for humans is $25. For dogs it's $5. Online registration deadline is May 18 -- after that you'll need to pay cash at the event -- so get in now!
